Hello, my name is Aminat T and I am a female home carer with a passion for helping others. I have been in the care profession for one year and during this time, I have gained valuable experience in providing care both on a live-in and hourly basis. I possess a plethora of attributes that enable me to excel in my role including being caring, friendly and helpful.
My motivation for caring stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. As a home carer, my main goal is to ensure that my clients feel comfortable and safe in their own homes while providing support with everyday tasks that they may struggle with such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care and companionship. I have had experience working with clients dealing with Mild Cognitive Impairment, bedbound individuals, anxiety, depression and stroke.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing, cooking and baking, as well as solving puzzles. I am also comfortable around pets and am okay with cats, fish, rabbits and birds.
