I am Naomi I was born and raised in Kenya and moved to the Netherlands in 2007 .I am a mother of 2daughters .I have been working for more than 4years. I love been a carer and it's very rewarding, as a live-in carer,I am very kind , caring person with an excellent work ethics a team player and social person ,I am personable and friendly with excellent communication I am able to relate to people and I have empathy , reliable,and patience,I have a good sense of humour,very jovial and I have passion of helping others with good and positive energy ,it has been a great experience seeing my clients enjoy life in there own space and being able to see my clients wake up every morning with a smile it's very important to me and I like my clients feel safe and comfortable by ensuring that they receive the care and the support they need ,and very organized,and self motivated .I have been responsible for clients with brain injuries, diabetes, mobility assistant ,cerebral pasly, Parkinson, dementia, stroke, learning disabilities, physical disabilities,hip replacement, alcohol dependency,I have experience in convine, catheter, and I also open on learning new skills .As a live-in carer my duties has been companion ship, helping with personal care such as support with showering and dressing .I provide supervision to the client, ordering and collecting medications and giving the medication ,providing the clients with emotional and mental health support and company as well being a listening ear.,shopping with clients or alone, dusting vacuuming and laundry , ironing ,communicating with their family ,including cooking meals, supporting client with eating and drinking if necessary ,arranging and attending to clients appointments, watching TV and listening music and singing and dancing,and I also extend to help clients to take part in leisure activities such as going to trips.promoting a healthy social life or taking client to club or meeting friends and family as wel to enjoy fresh air
