Rosey Brooks was employed as a carer for my mother for a period of 4 weeks in April 2022.My mother was living independently in her own home and Rosey was employed as a live-in carer. We found Rosey to be extremely professional in her approach to the task we required. She was very well prepared to meet all my Mothers’ needs and we were impressed with her attitude towards the job.We found her to be hard working, very competent in monitoring Mum's health and wellbeing, honest and trustworthy. In addition to the usual Carer duties, she also helped Mum to appointments and shopped for groceries. She took Mum for walks and exercise and was pleasant and understanding towards her.

I have known Rosey Brooks for about two years, during which time she cared for my mother,Marion Sunley. She has been reliable, caring and kindly to my mother and the rest of the family.Rosey is multi-skilled and always went the extra mile to make things more fun or more acceptable to my mother. On her 91st birthday, Rosey made bunting and an amazing cake to celebrate her birthdaywhich was during a lockdown.Rosey is excellent at dealing with GP practices, hospital departments and anyone else that needs to be liaised with. She was always diligent, punctual and we were very grateful to have her services.I have no hesitation in recommending Rosey to anyone needing someone to care for a loved one.

5 Eileen Gardens 21 Shorbutts Lane Kingshurst Lichfield Birmingham Staffs B37 6NL WS14 9BT To Whom it may concern Reference for Mrs Rosey Brooks Rosey looked after our 94-year-old father between the period of December 2021 and June 2022. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. When Rosey initially arrived, our father was still mobile but from January 2022 onwards bedridden. We both found Rosey to be highly professional, attentive and kind when she cared. Not only did she take care of all his personal needs effortlessly and patiently she prepared and cooked all meals ensuring he had enough nutrients and fluids each day. Once bedridden Rosey managed the moving/handling of our father via hoist. She monitored our father during night-time hours and was quick to respond if he was unsettled or agitated. After his decline in health in January 2022 she was calm and gave the family support and assistance whilst medical equipment was supplied. She also liaised with health professionals including district nurses, GP and Occupational health teams. Her communication skills are to be recommended, we were regularly kept up to date with updates, changes or concerns with his health. Rosey became part of our family. Our father was extremely comfortable with her and we had complete confidence in Rosey’s ability to care for him. We were sad to see her depart after our father passed away and would highly recommend her for a caring position.
