My name is Angela Wakatama 51 years old, I am a highly reliable and capable social care professional with a wide range of skills. Hard working and able to work in a calm manner under pressure. I easily adapt to new environments and poses the required interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with patient’s relatives, GP’s and other health professionals as needed.

The following are duties I have experience in : companionship, assisting with personal care, preparing meals, assisting with feeding, household shopping, maintaining cleanliness, enabling the client to access recreational activities, supporting clients to attend hospital and GP appointments, ordering and administering medication, moving and handling, administering nebulisers when required, checking glucose levels, setting up peg feed and giving water flushes after the feed, promoting light exercises or taking walks, making sure equipment like hoists, walking aids, slings, hospital beds are safe to use and well maintained, identifying and reporting any concerns to families and addressing general enquires from relatives and friends whilst promoting confidentiality, supporting clients with varying learning disabilities and mental issues.
