Description
Hello, I am Tegan, a dedicated, extremely passionate, empathetic female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing care for individuals with various needs. I have worked in a variety of care settings, offering support in live-in, hourly, and overnight capacities and most recently a healthcare assistant on an emergency ward. My expertise lies in assisting individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, and other conditions, as well as providing care for those who are bedbound and experiencing anxiety and depression.
Although I may not be able to drive or have a car, I will be taking my driving test this year and I am extremely keen to pass. My skills in personal cares are bathing, toileting, dressing assistance, pad changes, catheter care, stoma care, wound care, promotion of independence, with holding dignity and privacy at all times and much more. I also believe in a person centred approach to all care meaning the person I assist will receive person centred care tailor made to their needs whilst promoting independence and providing assistance and giving choices.
I pride in the personal connection I build with my clients, always striving to ensure their comfort and well-being. When not caring for others, you can find me indulging in hobbies such as walking, dancing, playing card games, cooking, baking, and decorating.
My love for caring stems from a deep-rooted desire to help individuals maintain their independence and dignity. I believe that everyone deserves to receive support in a compassionate and understanding manner, and I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for. With a caring, friendly, and helpful demeanor, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual under my care.

After change of plan with my visit, we visited redcar. I found Tegan to be kind caring heart of gold and punctual. I felt comfortable in Tegans care and will look forward to Tegan helping me again in due course,
