Joana was my mother’s carer from the 18th of July 2019 until her death on the 26th of March 2020. When Joana arrived it was like a breath of fresh air she was very bubbly but giving the air of authority, very friendly, and compassionate willing to fall in line with whatever was required. She was not only my mothers carer but also a great companion in her last couple of years. Joana was a great cook and made all mothers meals fresh from scratch no premade meals. This improved my mother’s quality of life. I felt safe leaving my mother in Joana’s care knowing that she was able to look after her as I would myself. She is trustworthy and honest and an excellent carer. She would be an asset to your company.

Where do I begin.... Joana was excellent - she really cares. From a professional point of view, Joana really knows what to do and does it with the utmost care and compassion. She makes the relationship 1:1 and engages really well with the surrounding family. Her primary concern is the client and she goes about her job with the highest of standards, even the personal care. Joana makes sure the client is fed healthily, hydrated and entertained. It is hard making the decision to trust someone with caring for your loved one, but straightaway Joana made it easy. Joana's is someone you can trust and rely upon. I would recommend Joana without hesitation for a long term or short term placement.

For the first time since this journey of my mum's Alzheimer's begun, I feel I can actually start to relax a little, knowing that she's in great hands. Joana has been a breath of fresh air and has given such good care to my mum who can sometimes be a little challenging, not her, but the disease. She's shown compassion, patience and a level of understanding that no other carer has given. My mum's quite adventurous with food and I think Joana has enjoyed sharing her recipes from home. When we return home from any outing, she gives my mum such a lovely welcome and manages to diffuse what is otherwise a very difficult time. Thank you so much Joana.
