I am a well-mannered polite and hardworking live-in care worker with over 19 years’ experience, who is able to work closely with other health professionals in a pressurised environment. I have a good awareness, understanding and commitment towards the protection and safeguarding of clients under my care always remain calm under pressure. I possess a long track record of maintaining good service standards, understanding safe working practice and health and safety. An approachable,cheerful,reliable and who has excellent communication skills. I also maintaining a safe environment breathing eating and drinking to prevent hydration. Good environment of the clients home the way it was when the client was still managing to keep her home clean and tied. Cleaning the house doing laundry and ironing everything. I am a good cook and like to cook fresh food. I am good on respect keeping privacy, and confidentiality of clients. I make sure that there needs are fulfilled at the time when their in need. To make the clients happy to give them chance all the time to make their choices to what they eat, to wear for the programs they want to watch on tv. Support them with washing dressing and various aspects of personal care, and if they are going out or going to hospital. To those who are forgetful to assist to administer their medication as it is instructed and to some important things like record keeping. Encourage them to some things which they are important to their lives activities, all things to be done and to make them know they are like us not that they are failures. To also maintain their independence. I am a friendly approacher to put the client at ease, whatever their physical social needs. I have good sense of humour respect of the client and their families.

Corina cared for my Mum, who has Alzheimer's disease, as a live-in carer on rotation with another carer for 15 months. She is very experienced and was able to handle Mum at all stages of her illness. She is skillful with handling, personal care, and hygiene. Corina takes initiative and is an excellent problem solver, able to deal with whatever situation arose. She is a person of integrity, totally honest, reliable and trustworthy. Corina is positive, unflappable and has a warm sense of humour which helped us all. She is a good communicator and very responsive. Corina is an excellent and passionate cook, making delicious nutritious meals for Mum, and knowing how to adapt them as Mum's needs changed. She took care of all the shopping, making sure fresh food was always available. Knowing Mum was in Corina's care made an enormous difference to us and we knew she was in safe hands. Friends commented on how well Mum was looked after. A consummate professional, I cannot recommend Corina highly enough. A truly first-class person and carer.
