Description
Hello,
I have worked as a domiciliary worker and live-in. Here I have met and looked after people with such an array of different individualistic needs. Young adult - end of life. Learning disabilities - somatic diseases - multiple chronic conditions -hoist - catheter care too. I always try to make whoever i'm looking after feel comfortable, happy, and if we can have a laugh together then that's always a plus ! I pride myself on being person centred, outcome focused care, delivered with sensitivity, compassion and without judgement.
I am a young lady from West London, 25. I decided that I liked the idea of being a care worker when I was 17, my nan had carers visit her in her home whilst she was terminally ill- I just thought it was a very sweet job, so when I was 18, I decided to join a care company. I have always enjoyed this work, looking after people has become a passion, a part of my identity, and has taught me valuable lessons. To be able to hear stories, get to know people, and encourage them to stay as active as they can be, is something very fulfilling for me. Besides being involved in music, art, faith, cooking, and health & fitness ( & many more interests), I have always maintained a feeling of joy when it comes to caring for people.
I have impeccable cleaning standards. Especially for the small things that are used daily such as light switches, remotes and door handles.
Please contact me if you think you would like to give things a go, I am more than happy to chat.
