Description
I studied to be a Carer from 2015 with a training care company where i worked with for three years. Taking annual update training tests and studying the Care Certificate. I lived with a variety of clients with Dementia conditions Alzheimers - Lewy Bodies - Vascular Dementia - Parkinsons as well as Stroke - Diabetes 2 - Cerabal Pawsey and Spinal condition. So have had a range of experience in live in care. I have had a regular periodic frail client with mild Dementia and Spinal curvature pain for the past two years.
I enjoy being a carer as i carered for my father in his final years and could see it was a rewarding vocation for me.
Outside of Care work i have an active life as i previously was a Carpenter and restored a number of properties and have now settled in a country Farmhouse in France which is half guest accommodation and half owners accommodation where i have holidaymakers stay in the summer months.
Before training and studying as a Carpenter i went to Art college and studied to be an illustrator which i was for a while and to this day love painting and a keen artist.
