My name is Josephine, although I do prefer to be called Jo. I am a female home carer with a passion for helping others. With a focus on providing hourly care, I have dedicated years of my life to supporting individuals with various challenges, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, being bedbound, anxiety, depression, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. My experience has taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and understanding in caring for those in need.
While I may not be able to drive or have my own car, I possess a wide range of skills essential for caregiving. From assisting with bathing and toileting to providing catheter care and support with dressing, I take pride in offering comprehensive care to my clients. Beyond the physical aspects of care, I also prioritize companionship, recognizing the emotional support and connection it brings to those I care for.
In my free time, I enjoy activities such as walking, cooking and baking, solving puzzles, gardening, and reading. I find solace in the companionship of pets, with a preference for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Known for my caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude, I am committed to helping individuals lead independent lives and making a positive impact on those I care for.
