Having three years experience working with people with different physical, mental and emotional needs it has helped me to develop a caring nature. I have developed communication teamwork and listening skills I am now able to demonstrate with my working colleagues, service users and their families without any concerns.
After working in the adult care industry which includes caring for the individual with mental health issues, I chose to undertake an eight week online course in health and social care level 1 to expand my knowledge in this area. I believe that this has given me a better understanding of the theories underpinning the health and social care services.
