Description
Hello, I'm Whitney B, a compassionate and experienced female carer specialising in hourly and overnight care. With a background in supporting individuals dealing with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia, Alzheimer, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, depression, and those who are mobile and those who are bedbound. Throughout my career in healthcare, I have had the privilege of working across a diverse array of settings, each presenting its own unique challenges and rewards. Therefore, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to my caregiving practice.
I am adept at providing personal care services such as bathing, toileting, dressing assistance, catheter care, and offering companionship to those in need. My years of experience have honed my abilities to empathise and connect with my clients, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
Outside of my caregiving role, I enjoy walking, solving puzzles, socialising, playing board games, and reading. These hobbies keep me balanced and rejuvenated, allowing me to bring positivity and energy to my work. My motivation for caregiving comes from a deep-seated desire to help people lead independent lives and bring comfort to those in their time of need. With a caring, friendly, and helpful demeanor, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I care for.
