Description
Over the last 15 years I have gained numerous experiences over time working within the healthcare profession. I became a care assistant in a residential home which was an extremely liberating experience for me as I gained insight on caring for older people with a range of illnesses including those with Alzheimers, Stroke survivors etc. I often find the best part of the job is being able to listen and talk to my patients about they’re life and what led them to where they are today and i’m able to do this with compassion in order to create a nurturing relationship. I then became a support worker after working as a care assistant for over a decade. I have worked with patients with severe depression, drug addiction and alcoholism who often suffered with illness such as asthma and diabetes. I feel that this role really helped strengthen my resilience and interpersonal skills as I listened effectively in order to build empathy.. My most recent role has been working as childminder, after having two kids of my own, I feel it is important to cater to the needs of the next generation. By teaching them to effectively communicate and engage with me as well as younger people. Safeguard and the welfare of all my clients is always placed of high priority for me and I am patient, reliable and organised.

I can confirm that I have known Sarah for a long time; She is a very experienced carer and also an OFSTED registered child minder. I am actually a customer of her because she looks after my son as per her child-minding business. I can attest that she is of good character and a dedicated worker; if she is committed to something, she always sees it through to the end. From my perspective she would definitely be a reliable staff to have on your platform.
