I am a mature lady, who is competent, loyal and enthusiastic. I am friendly, with a great sense of humour, a good listener, patient and calm. I enjoy cooking, baking and the outdoors, weather permitting.
I am fulfilled by my contribution and the feeling of my client’s success when I play a positive part in their daily lives. I get great job satisfaction from monitoring my clients develop their independence, which in turn allows them to have a more active and happier life.
I received a gold award from my previous employer for excellent care provided to my client. I have experience working with Alzheimer/Dementia clients.
I am with my present client for approximately 18 months, I cannot continue caring for her due to relocation.
More recently following a permanent move from Cape Town, South Africa to the UK, I have pursued a different career path that I have found to be rewarding. I have 3 years experience in care work and previously worked in finance for my last employer for over 14 years. I am confident in my skills qualities and ability, that I can provide the best care for my clients.
