Hi there, my name is Rachel D and I have over a year of experience as a home carer. I offer a variety of care types including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. Being caring, friendly, and helpful are attributes that define who I am as a carer. I am motivated by the desire to help people lead independent and happy lives.
I am skilled in various aspects of caring, including bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, companionship, and cooking. Some of the conditions that I have experience with include mild cognitive impairment, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME), and poor or declining mobility. My experience has taught me to be patient, compassionate, and a great listener.
Outside of my work, I enjoy several hobbies like walking, dancing, card games, cooking & baking, and puzzles.
