My name is farhiya, I am Hardworking person and always willing to learn new things. I take my job serious and am caring person, I enjoy seeing my clients happy with my job. Doing this job has taught me a lot about understanding and being respectful of everyone wishes. I look forward to each morning when I know am going to see my clients and get to listen to the stories they tell me brings me joy to know they are happy by the time I walk out. Being a carer has been a pleasure and life experience that’s taught me a lot that I will always cherish.
I have have worked with clients that suffered stroke that made them feel invalid but I was there to help them see the brighter side of it all. You have to be understanding and work at the clients pace and make them feel comfortable.
I communicate well with each and every client the way that suits them. This job has taught me that listening is key when it comes to understanding what ones feeling at every moment.
To never cross a boundary and always put your clients needs first.
I have experienced with people that had chronic illnesses and sometimes life wasn’t easy for them, I was there to be a carer and care for them and let them load off whatever they felt. I will always make time to show them that I represent that terminology carer and will care for them to my ability.
I will finish this by saying that, for future clients to always find comfort to communicate with me regardless of job done well or not. If I don’t do the job properly it should be pointed out as am responsible for someone’s needs and should be done properly.
