Description
I started providing care as a primary carer to my late father since I was 17 years in Nigeria. He ill with an undiagnosed sickness for 5 years. I take the responsibility to support him around his needs at the time which including bathing, grooming, meal preparation and feeding, incontinent care, medicine administration, activities, physio stretching, and wound dressing.
I came into UK in year 2004 and worked on homecare as a care assistant and then got employed as residential support worker in care home with adult with learning disability and also work with children with complex needs. I have ever the work in various setting in social care such as mental health units, hospital and individual private homes. I have NVQ 3 in social care and also hold qualification in health care leadership and management. I have experience with hoisting and medication administration and peg care.
I am friendly and a good listener and enjoy working closely with others to support them and appreciate what is primarily important to them. I take passion in providing quality care to the people we support in a dignified way and promoting quality of life.
I have over 18 years of experience working in the care sector as a carer and a manager of multiple locations. I respect the wish of my clients and put them at the centre of all the care they receive. I have good working experience in supporting people with complex health needs, personal care, hoisting, medication administration, companionship, meal preparation and feeding, domestic chores and incontinent care.

She is such a warm, lovely and caring person which reflects in her work and relationships with others. Fola has helped me out on many occasions and has been a pillar of support never hesitating to help me shower, do my hair and cooking.
