my names are Harriet Namukwaya, I have been a care for over 20years, I do love working with people and supporting them towards achieving their independence.
My experience in this field has taught me to listen and respect the service user's needs and work with in their requirement enabling me to deliver personal centred care, I understand the challenging circumstance that the service user maybe facing and there for being patient , passionate and expressing empathy are some of the underlying factors in approach to my work, in my career I have been able to support people with different challenging needs in life i.e dementia, cerebral palsy, end of life care [palliative care], patients with physical disability, Autism, cancer patients, Ms patients among others.
