I believe I am a great carer because I am able to empathize extremely well with most situations, people & family. I see my clients as individuals first, above whatever their condition & have had great feedback from previous customers. I have worked with stroke sufferers, dementia sufferers, people who need catheter care & help with personal hygiene & cooking. I have a great deal of life/work experience outside of the care industry and I am a youthful spirited 57 years old.
I have hade roughly 2 years experience working for an agency, dealing with a varied adult client base. I have a Higher Ed Cert in H & SC & am currently working towards my Level 3 Diploma in Adult H & SC. I also have the NHS Care Certificate.
I am interested in reading, cooking, music, exercise etc & am open to other areas of interest.
I previously worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school, assisting a statemented child, with 'Volunteer Reading Help', a charity aiming to improve the reading standards of children & I actively helped out in my daughter's school. I have two cats & get on well with animals.
