Description
I am an adaptable, diligent, passionate, and self-motivated individual with experience in executing personal support plans which focus on the individual’s welfare, needs, wants, and interests. I have the ability to manage a challenging caseload, while staying focused on giving a high standard of care to every client/service user. I am comfortable working in one-on -one-situations with people of different levels of disability and ages.
I became a Carer/Support Worker for two specific reasons. The first reason is, having had over 25years of experience caring for my aunt whom I grew up knowing as my mum, I enjoyed the challenge that the role presents, and I also very much enjoyed the responsibility of providing the right level of care to the person I was looking after. These years of experience has made me understand that with empathy, love and support anyone can lead a satisfactory life. The second reason is, the flexibility of the working hours which fits perfectly around my personal life.
I currently seeks a role where I can continue to help people reach their potential and lead fulfilled lives.
