Description
Hello, my name is Donna R, and I am a dedicated and experienced home carer with a passion for supporting individuals in their daily lives. I have a wealth of experience in providing care for individuals with various needs, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, depression, and those who are bedbound. With a background in both hourly and overnight care, I am well-equipped to handle a wide range of situations and challenges that may arise.
As a female carer with a compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others, I take pride in being able to assist with tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing much-needed companionship. My skills extend beyond just physical care - I believe in fostering emotional support and connection with those I care for. Being able to drive and having my own car allow me to be flexible and provide transportation as needed, ensuring that my clients have access to essential appointments and activities.
In my personal time, I enjoy hobbies such as walking, cooking & baking, solving puzzles, socialising, and reading. I find that these activities help me recharge and stay balanced, allowing me to bring a positive and energized attitude to my caregiving responsibilities. I am also a lover of pets and am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. My motivation for being a carer stems from my belief in helping people lead independent lives while receiving the support and assistance they need to thrive. With a caring, friendly, and helpful disposition, I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for.
