My name is Dawn ,I am 51,married with 1 son and 3 dogs.
I am a calm,level-headed person with a caring nature. I am very easy-going and work well on my own initiative. I get on well with people and I work well to the clients needs and wishes. I enjoy getting to know clients and building a relationship with them. I love the variety of the job and the satisfaction you get from helping others.
I have worked in care for many year's,1st caring for family members then working in the community. I worked for my 1st care company for 4 years,then i had a break for a year. I then started with a new care company which I worked for 15 months at. I decided to set up on my own as a private carer. My 1st client was a lovely lady called June who I cared for 3 times a week. I currently have 4 regular clients that I care for. I specialise in dementia care and end of life care. I have completed the care certificate and additional qualifications for end of life care and dementia care.
