Hi there! My name is Matilda and I have been a home carer for over five years, providing both hourly and overnight care for those in need. Some of the attributes I bring to my role include being caring, friendly, and helpful. I find my motivation for this career to be in helping people lead as independent lives as possible, while offering a therapeutic touch.
Although I cannot drive nor do I have a car, I am skilled in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and offering general companionship. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, from those with mild cognitive impairment to those who are bedbound. I am also experienced in caring for those with Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
