I am kind and caring 53 years old carer from Staines, Surrey I have extensive experience working with older people and people with learning disability and autism. I am caring and content happy nature, I will always go above and beyond to make the people around me feel loved and appreciated......I always ensure everybody is made to feel as comfortable as possible. I like making a difference to other people's lives and helping them live the best life possible for them. I love my job and I don't take myself too seriously.
I have worked as a private carer for a lady who had a stroke and a gentleman with autism as a living-in care worker and I have also worked in both nursing and residential care homes for the elderly, including dementia and Alzheimer's.....I have 12 years, experience working as a carer and as a support worker. I have experience in providing personal care for elderly people and people with disabilities, also assisting people with: bathing. toilet use. personal care/grooming and dressing. Assisting the client with their day-to-day activities and needs.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking healthy meals, reading, exercising, going for short walks, meditation and discovering new places. I describe myself as a bubbly person with good sense of humour, I like helping other people and putting a smile on their face(s).....kind, compassionate, kind, honest and trustworthy, I like making people I support or my host to feel safe and empowered in their own home, I would like the people I support always to be treated with the highest respect and dignity and keep their home tidy and clean. I am hard working, reliable, thoughtful, humble and calm.
I have trainings and knowledge into, NVQ Level 2 in social care, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Dementia Awareness, Quality and Diversity, First Aid, Safeguarding Adults, Food Hygiene, Infection Control, First Aid, Information Governance, Mental Capacity Act, Medication, Epilepsy Awareness, Privacy and Dignity.

Sharon is such a kind-hearted lady who loves caring for other people especially people we support, she's calm, honest and very hard working, she had good working relationship with the people we support, she's a good listener and a good team player, Sharon has a good sense of humour and listens and acts on our service user's needs.
