My name is Stephanie, and I am a female home carer with a wide range of experience in providing care and support to individuals with varying needs. I specialize in offering hourly and overnight care, and I am equipped with the skills and knowledge to cater to the unique requirements of my clients.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients who have Mild Cognitive Impairment, are bedbound, suffer from Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I am dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and happiness.
I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of each resident's life here at the retirement home. Caring for our clients brings me immense joy and fulfillment. The relationships we build, the stories we share, and the support we provide each other create a warm and loving community. I truly love being a caregiver and having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of those I care for. It's more than just a job to me; it's a deeply rewarding experience, and I cherish the connections we've formed.
I possess a diverse set of caregiving skills, including but not limited to bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. I take immense pride in assisting individuals in leading independent lives, fostering their well-being, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Outside of my caregiving role, I enjoy engaging in various hobbies such as netball, dance and music and family, and reading.
