I am Sarah Powers . I have 20 years experience working in the care industry with people having various conditions and have developed a compassionate approach in my service. I work hard to get to know my clients so I can help them enjoy their interests and hobbies in a comfortable manner. I am a very reliable person, caring , kind and hardworking with excellent communication skills . I endeavour to make my patients feel a sense of being listened to and focus on involving them in making their care decisions as much as they can where possible. I enjoy caring because I believe caring is the greatest form to extend kindness among the community. In my service period ,I have worked with care agencies like HFH for about 10 years and also worked with the ambulance services for over 5 years transporting patients to and from hospitals. I currently work with children with learning disabilities for school runs every morning and afternoon. I have gained a variety of skills working with patients with dementia,spinal injuries, Brian injuries, Muscular dystrophy and end of life care. I am well versed with stoma care, catheter,hoisting , medication administration and companionship. I can cook , clean , wash ,dress and tidy up. I am available for work.
