I started in care in 2008 when I joined a domiciliary agency and I have worked for them for 6 years, I have learned so many things and I passed my NVQ level 2&3 in Health & Social Care with them. Between in 2010 I have joined a care home where I worked as night carer. I am very confident with catheter and stoma and I have been shown the peg feed however I would have to be shown again, I am happy to learn. I have many years of experience of how to use a hoist, ceiling hoist, standing aids and I have learned through the years how to do blood sugar, blood pressure and all vitals. I am non smoker but feel comfortable to work in smokers home providing I am still able to breath. I am confident around pets as I have few dogs myself.
