I work with clients with different medical conditions such as dementia Parkinson's, diabetes, brain injuries,learning disabilities and complex care etc. I assist with feeding, dressing ,mobility, peg feed, catheter care,colostomy care and also respiratory. I love to help people as this is my nature. I am trained in health and safety, food hygiene, infection control ,blood glucose monitoring etc.i also report and document such as any changes in clients condition.

Experienced in health care services and a holder of level 2 certificate, I have worked with the vulnerable and disabled in my community by providing care for my relatives and family friends who were facing life challenges. I have developed empathy, respect, personal care, listening and communication skills. I have interacted with social care and council agencies to improve the welfare of the vulnerable. This has included personal care, family support, accompanying, visits, and similar support. I realise the need for professionalism in working as a team; communication, for example if I am going to be late; to be flexible in shifts, and to promote the self-actualisation of service users.

I am a happy motivated, confident, hardworking individual who has experience working with elderly people in their own homes and I enjoy my job. I am able to use my logic to solve problems & issues that may occur. I am happy to work on my own or as part of a team, I have good communication skill and can well work under pressure. I like to keep my clients safe, happy and encouraging them to be independent. I am happy to help in sitting service, shopping visits, personal care to overnights. All my mandatory training is up to date which includes Manual handling, Infection control, Food hygiene, safeguarding and medication.
