I have been a carer and support worker for 6 years working with a mix of the elderly clients and young people with learning disabilities. This has given me a broad base of experience, meaning that I can help people with almost any issues. I am a very motivated individual, well organised and analytical.
I am a reliable and result driven carer, quick to take the lead, guiding my clients through situations with patients and understanding. My experience in the care sector has taught me the importance of communication and team work. It has also helped me to become a good listener no matter how stressful the situation may be for others. I believe in treating all people fairly, and I try to bring that into my work everyday.
I enjoy hearing great stories, whether they come from my clients, my friends, out at the cinema or in a book (Nick Chase is my favorite author), I am always happy to hear new ones.
