Framlingham Castle

Framlingham Castle is a 12th century castle with a complete curtain wall and thirteen towers, where Mary Tudor gathered her supporters before becoming queen in 1553. Inside the walls is a later workhouse building with an exhibition, and the wall walk looks over the mere and the town.

The exhibition in the workhouse has level access with a platform lift to the first floor, although there are uneven grassy areas and steps elsewhere on site.
