"Corina cared for my Mum, who has Alzheimer's disease, as a live-in carer on rotation with another carer for 15 months. She is very experienced and was able to handle Mum at all stages of her illness. She is skillful with handling, personal care, and hygiene. Corina takes initiative and is an excellent problem solver, able to deal with whatever situation arose. She is a person of integrity, totally honest, reliable and trustworthy. Corina is positive, unflappable and has a warm sense of humour which helped us all. She is a good communicator and very responsive. Corina is an excellent and passionate cook, making delicious nutritious meals for Mum, and knowing how to adapt them as Mum's needs changed. She took care of all the shopping, making sure fresh food was always available. Knowing Mum was in Corina's care made an enormous difference to us and we knew she was in safe hands. Friends commented on how well Mum was looked after. A consummate professional, I cannot recommend Corina highly enough. A truly first-class person and carer."

"Olu/Toyin has been great with my Mum who’s 83 and has Alzheimer’s. Olu was thrown in at the deep-end as a live-in carer for 3 weeks. Mum had just been discharged from hospital, (having spent 4 weeks on a ward with Corona and secondary pneumonia) and Mum’s weak state didn’t phase Olu at all. A physiotherapist had given Mum quite a strict regime of breathing and muscle strengthening exercises to follow, and Olu very diligently ensured Mum did them all. She also skillfully encouraged Mum to get her appetite back by cooking her lovely meals and making sure she stayed hydrated. It’s made a huge difference having Olu helping out. It was also very reassuring to have her daily written notes sometimes including photos and videos of Mum’s day. I would definitely recommend Olu as a carer to others. Thanks again, Toyin/Olu :-)!"

He has shown kin interest to hear about my life and he was asking questions, (I owe to say that I did encourage him to do so), and was very helpful and understanding, so much so that I found it very easy to talk about myself. Normally, I would not do so with anyone, as I am a very reserved person. After this, I took my two crutches and went for a walked along Wood Green High Street. He kept pace with me, and always very considerate when crossing, ensured that there no oncoming vehicles. We kept talking while walking. I found this "Talking Therapy" very uplifting and very therapeutic. Edward has shown maturity and commitment, and I am very happy to get to know him. I am sure that I will contact him again in due course as I am fully satisfied with him. I would recommend Edward to any prospective employers or users as he is a very respectable and knows his subject very well. My final words are "A Big Thank you. Well done!!! I am very impressed!!!""

"Cath is friendly, kind, empathic and highly professional. From day one, I felt that I could trust her with caring for my dad and also trust her with being in my dad's house when we'd go for appointments (when she'd clean and make dad's meals etc.) When Cath first started with us, my dad and I were both quite distressed. Dad was in a lot of discomfort from having had his first catheter fitted and I didn't know how to care and support him with it. It was such a relief for us both when Cath arrived. She got straight down on my dad's lounge floor at my dad's level and spoke to him with a tone that was reassuring but not at all patronizing - and I knew that was exactly what my dad needed to feel more in control of his life again. Cath exuded confidence and compassion. It was immediately obvious that she was very knowledgeable about catheters and lots of other areas of nursing too. Cath was also very patient and allowed me to watch and learn and explained lots of things to me as we went along until I had enough confidence to support my dad with the more straightforward side of catheter care. Cath's got great people skills and takes a genuine interest in people. My dad is a very sociable person, but didn't feel well enough for visitors for several weeks, so his little chats with Cath were very important for his happiness. Cath is a very good time keeper and an incredibly hard worker. She was happy to do whatever we needed her to do when my dad was not needing personal care. She's one of those people who puts 110% into everything she does. On many occasions Cath went over and above to help and support us - for example she wrote letters for me to show dad's GP and spoke to medical people for me on the phone. Cath always listens to her clients' wishes. She believes in helping people maintain their independence and creates a care plan around each individual client. Cath is a fantastic carer and a wonderful person and I wholeheartedly recommend her."

"Ana R recently joined the team of carers who are looking after my mother who is in late stage Alzheimer's. We are so pleased that she is working for us: she is a great carer, combining professionalism with a truely caring and affectionate approach to my mother. This is not easy with a person who is non-verbal and non-responsive, but it is plain to see that under Ana's care my mother is as happy and comfortable as possible in the circumstances. Her duties include all personal care, administering medication, turning Mum, looking after her very fragile skin including avoiding bedsores and turning. She also cooks Mum's meals and feeds her as well as making sure her fluid intake is adequate. Apart from the physical side of care she reads to Mum and keeps her company, holding her hand and communicating through touch. She is endlessly cheerful. Ana is a good communicator, both with the family and with the other carers in the team. Aside from looking after Mum, the house is spotless and she has taken on board the admin duties with no problem (shopping list, daily log, updates on WhatsApp group). Highly recommended."

"Ngozi has been a carer for my sister for approaching six months now and has been exceptional in her role. From the moment of meeting with her it was clear that she has a very caring nature, and she also benefits also from an array of previous experience caring for people with high levels of care needs. My sister needs 1-1 24/7 support in her home covering all aspects of care including mobilising, bathing, cooking, feeding, changing dippers, providing medication and companionship it can be quite daunting at first however Ngozi was never phased by this and went through her initial training seamlessly. The role requires staff who work alone in the home so it is very important that I can have complete trust in the carers to work independently with minimal supervision. Ngozi has settled in brilliantly and become an important member of the staff team, she is likewise always willing to work any additional hours that become available showing her flexibility and commitment to the role. I am very happy to have found Ngozi as I was struggling to find carers with the level of experience needed. I would have no hesitation recommending Ngozi to any prospective employer as her standard of work is first class, she is reliable, caring in nature and my sister has really taken to her also."
