I am a carer with a good work ethic and a good amount of experience. I have looked after a variety of clients in need of care over the years, so am capable of taking on both simple and complex roles. I also have a degree in Complementary Therapies which focuses on pain relief and joint pain. I love being able to fully support my clients in all aspects of their life so that they can live safely and independently. I especially love being able to interact with my clients and get to know them and them me. Socialising. Assisting the client in mobility including moving in handling transferring ,wheelchair, tracking hosting using commode electric wheelchair hospital bed, Reclining armchair bath seat . Assisting the client taking medication from blister assisting them with insulin ,Eyedrops , Peg feeding , oxygen management , Catheter care. Dietaries - Assisting the client in Menu planning preparing the meal serving and storing of the food , feeding. Working with a professional which is the client needs GP dentist chiropodist physiotherapist occupational therapist , social worker. Day today household tasks - laundry ironing washing shopping cleaning light gardening pet care.

A good week for me in Corby is one with a proper mix of hourly visits and overnight stays, and the part I enjoy most is simply being good company, sharing a meal, a walk, or just sitting and talking things through. My working life has taken me from India and Saudi Arabia to the UK, including time at John Radcliffe Hospital and Triangle Nursing Home, and that range of settings has taught me to stay calm and adaptable with whoever I am supporting. Day to day, I support people with dementia, Parkinson's, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as those recovering from surgery, living with cancer, or needing end of life care. I am confident with the practical side, bathing, dressing, moving and handling, catheter and colostomy care, wound dressing and medication reminders, but I try never to let the task crowd out the conversation. Cooking together, a bit of gardening, music or photography talk, whatever helps the day feel less like a routine and more like time well spent. I speak English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil, and keep my DBS check current, because trust matters in someone's home.
