I also have a degree in Complementary Therapies which focuses on pain relief and joint pain. I love being able to fully support my clients in all aspects of their life so that they can live safely and independently. I especially love being able to interact with my clients and get to know them and them me. Assisting the client in personal-care daily routine skincare ,washing , dressing ,shaving , grooming ,Oral care foot , toileting ,monitoring the bowel managing the incontinent Assistant client to fulfil daily activities of living reading exercising swimming cooking together going out attending appointments seeing friends and family , join the community groups. Socialising. Assisting the client in mobility including moving in handling transferring ,wheelchair, tracking hosting using commode electric wheelchair hospital bed, Reclining armchair bath seat . Assisting the client taking medication from blister assisting them with insulin ,Eyedrops , Peg feeding , oxygen management , Catheter care. Dietaries - Assisting the client in Menu planning preparing the meal serving and storing of the food , feeding. Working with a professional which is the client needs GP dentist chiropodist physiotherapist occupational therapist , social worker. Day today household tasks - laundry ironing washing shopping cleaning light gardening pet care.

My start in care was three months of focused training, followed by over two years as a healthcare support assistant in a hospital setting. That grounding taught me steady routines and calm handling of all kinds of situations. For the past two years I have also supported people in their own homes here in Nottingham, offering hourly visiting care and building real trust along the way. I am patient by nature and easy to be around. I help with the everyday things, washing, dressing, medication reminders, moving and handling, as well as more involved needs like catheter care and hoist use. I have supported people with dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, arthritis and heart conditions, among others, and I am comfortable with end of life care too. I speak English and Tamil, and I enjoy quiet moments as much as a chat, whether that is a card game, some music, or just having the television on together.
