Grove Park lies along the north and east sides of Carshalton's Lower Pond, at the heart of the village conservation area, with riverside walks by the River Wandle. There is a café in the park, and Honeywood Museum is just across the ponds.

Beddington Park covers 58 hectares along the River Wandle, with woodland walks, formal gardens, a lake and the historic Carew Manor and St Mary's Church at its edge. The Pavilion Café is open every day.

Oaks Park is a large park on the edge of the borough, once the estate where the Oaks horse race was named, with formal gardens, woodland, meadows and artist studios. There is a café in the park.

Little Holland House was the home of the artist and craftsman Frank Dickinson, who built and furnished it himself in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement. Volunteer guides show visitors around the hand-made rooms and furniture.

Nonsuch Park is a large historic park on the site of Henry VIII's lost Nonsuch Palace, jointly managed by Sutton and Epsom and Ewell councils. At its centre is Nonsuch Mansion House, with formal gardens and wide parkland around it.
