This is an ongoing stream of self-employed opportunities rather than one specific placement. As a PrimeCarers carer you are truly self-employed: you set your own rates, choose your clients, hours and the area you cover. Typical rates for dementia support roles are £19–£20 per hour; you may find work that fits within £19–£20 per hour for hourly visits or £145–£160 per day for live‑in days, depending on the family and the support needed.

What the work involves:

• Supporting familiar daily routines to reduce anxiety and preserve independence.
• Providing patient personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance and companionship.
• Working with families to maintain consistency, and sharing brief, clear handovers after each visit.
