About this role
This is a live-in Carer, Housekeeper and Companion role supporting a 70-year-old woman recovering from a severe stroke at her rural home on the Sussex/Surrey border. The ideal candidate should be experienced, compassionate, patient and confident communicating with someone with aphasia and apraxia, while providing mobility and personal-care support, medication prompting, cooking, housekeeping, companionship, appointments and pet care. The role is shared with another live-in carer on a 4–5 weeks on/4–5 weeks off rota, with a 3-hour daily break. An enhanced DBS check, excellent references and strong cooking and caregiving skills are essential.
