This is an ongoing self-employed opportunity, not a single role. As a PrimeCarers carer you set your own rates and choose who you work with, the hours you accept and your service area. Typical pay falls in £145–£173.50 per day depending on the support needed and the hours agreed. Some carers prefer hourly care and see rates in the £15–£25 per hour range; others take live-in day rates in the £145–£173.50 per day band.

Live-in work suits carers who are comfortable living with someone and adapting to household routines. You'll be asked to support mobility, personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation and emotional support, plus keeping the client’s environment safe and comfortable. Shifts involve living in the home with agreed sleep and rest breaks set out clearly in the contract.

• Minimum requirements: at least 1 year of professional care experience, an Enhanced DBS check (we can help arrange one), the right to work in the UK and verifiable references.
• Practicalities: applying takes minutes and profiles typically go live within days of verification. Travel to placements may come from across the UK; many carers travel to Coalisland and nearby towns such as Portadown, Lurgan, Markethill, Crumlin, Clogher and Randalstown.
