Description

Night care on PrimeCarers means providing waking or sleeping nights in a person's own home so families can rest with confidence. In Glasgow you'll support adults with personal care, medication prompts, repositioning, comfort and companionship through the night, working either regular or ad-hoc shifts depending on the client. You stay self-employed, choose the clients, hours and service area that suit you, and set your own rates — typical pay is £17–£20 per hour per hour.

Right now, 15 families are currently looking for care in the wider area.

This style of work suits experienced carers who value quieter, more focused shifts and want better control than many agency models offer. You might be used to night shifts in care homes, supporting people with dementia, neurological conditions or complex needs — that experience transfers well to home-based overnight care. Many of our Glasgow carers appreciate the continuity of supporting the same person and the chance to build trusting relationships overnight.

PrimeCarers finds clients, manages contracts, handles invoicing and payments, and provides insurance while you work. You remain self-employed and can accept or decline introductions. We place carers across Glasgow and nearby towns such as Rutherglen, Bearsden, Milngavie, Clydebank, Barrhead and Paisley.
