Clients often tell me they value how steady and composed I am, someone who explains things clearly and doesn't rush a moment of worry. I bring that same measured approach to live-in care in Bourne End, where I've worked for six years now. I speak Bosnian, Croatian, Hungarian, Russian and Serbian alongside English, and I've kept building on my training through several induction and development courses, because I'd rather keep learning than assume I know it all. Day to day, I help with the practical things that make independence possible: washing, dressing, moving safely with a hoist if needed, catheter and colostomy care, medication reminders, and meals cooked properly rather than just heated up. I've supported people through dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson's, heart disease, respiratory illness, arthritis and mobility problems, as well as end of life care, and I understand how much consistency matters when someone is unwell. I tend to stay the course too, working through the year with only planned breaks, so the people I care for know I'll be there. Outside of work I enjoy walking, cooking, photography and a good book, interests I'm happy to share if it helps someone settle into our routine together. I'd be glad to meet you or your family to talk through what support would help most.

My background is in healthcare and rehabilitation, and over six years that grounding has shaped how I work: steadily, calmly, and with a clear focus on what each person actually needs. I spent around a year working directly in clients' own homes, which taught me how much easier things become when care fits naturally into someone's daily routine rather than the other way round. I'm based in Tonbridge and offer both hourly visiting care and live-in care, and I speak Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian as well as English, which has helped me connect with a wider range of clients and families. Day to day, I support people with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, multiple sclerosis and declining mobility, among others, and I'm comfortable with the full range of personal care, including bathing, dressing, hoist assistance, catheter care and medication reminders. I also help with cooking, laundry and the everyday administrative tasks that can pile up, alongside straightforward, unhurried companionship. Whether someone needs steady, practical hands-on support or simply a reassuring presence through the day, I try to bring the same calm consistency to it. Outside work I keep active with walking, dancing and yoga, and I enjoy music and time with friends, which I think keeps me patient and even-tempered in my work too. I'd be glad to hear from you or your family and to talk through what support might help, and I look forward to meeting you.

Not long ago I spent over a year caring for the same client, working a steady month on, month off rotation. It suited us both. They knew who was coming through the door, and I knew their routine inside out. That kind of continuity matters to me. I think care works best when it is calm and consistent, not rushed. I'm based in Norwich and offer hourly, live-in and overnight care. Over eight years I've supported people with dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and conditions like COPD, osteoporosis and multiple sclerosis, as well as those needing end of life care or support after surgery. I'm comfortable with personal care, moving and handling, catheter care and medication reminders, and I always make time for a proper conversation over a cup of tea. I speak Bosnian, English, Hungarian and Serbian, which sometimes helps put people at ease. I haven't done nursing training, but I've built my knowledge through years of hands on care and proper care assistant training. Outside of work I like walking, cooking, reading and pottering with my collections at home. If you think I might be a good match for your family, I'd be glad to hear from you, no pressure at all.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before arranging care.

Enter your postcode or town in the search box and we will show carers in your area who speak Bosnian.

Checks cover identity, right to work, an interview and an accepted criminal-record check: Enhanced DBS, DBS Update Service, Scottish PVG or Access NI. The acceptance window for a standalone Enhanced DBS certificate is 18 months. Update Service rechecks apply where that route is used. Check the documents and discuss skills, training and suitability for your particular care needs before booking. We do not check qualifications, training or references, so ask the carer about those directly.

Live-in carers can relocate to be with your loved one. We may suggest live-in care if hourly options are limited in your area.

Carers set their own rates, which vary by location, experience and care needs. Profile rates include our platform commission and the VAT on that commission. Agree the care, any extra services and expenses before booking. The standard contract charges bank holidays at 1.5 times the normal rate and Christmas Day at twice the normal rate. Compare like-for-like quotes for the same care and cover.

Search by your postcode and filter by language, care type and availability to see carers who fit what you need. You can message carers directly, or post a job describing what you’re looking for so that Bosnian-speaking carers can apply. You choose who to talk to and who to book.

You can arrange hourly (visiting) care, overnight care, respite and full-time live-in care. Carers help with companionship, personal care, medication support, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks and getting out and about, depending on what your loved one needs.

That depends on the carers near you and how flexible you can be on times and care type. You can search and message carers straight away. If it is urgent, the urgent care finder on our emergency care page can help.

Yes. We always recommend speaking with a carer first, by message, phone or video, and arranging an introductory meeting so both sides are comfortable. There’s no obligation to proceed until you’ve found someone who feels right for your family.

For visits booked through PrimeCarers, we arrange cover where the carer does not have their own. Cover depends on the policy terms, eligibility and exclusions; check that it covers the work you agree. Our team provides platform and administrative support and can help you look for alternatives. Replacement availability and start dates need confirmation. Read the insurance information.

You agree the care with a self-employed carer and use PrimeCarers for contract, booking and payment tools. Keep bookings accurate and pay through the platform. The standard notice is 48 hours for hourly care and for live-in care before 168 hours have been worked. After 168 hours, live-in care requires 7 days. Different notice terms must be agreed in writing under the contract. Booked visits you cancel are payable under the contract, except for unplanned hospitalisation, illness or another reason agreed with your carer. Your carer may waive some or all of the charge. Read the agreement.
