I love painting, gardening and quiet craft projects, and this creativity often becomes part of my care. I once helped an anxious lady with poor sight make small papermache bowls and beaded decorations for her family, and the calm of it did her more good than any conversation could. I'm based in Crawley and offer live-in care, drawing on 27 years of experience and speaking Afrikaans, English and Dutch. I'm confident supporting people with dementia, stroke, heart disease, diabetes and respiratory illness, as well as conditions that affect mobility, such as arthritis, osteoporosis and multiple sclerosis. My personal care skills cover bathing, dressing, hoist use, catheter care and medication reminders, alongside cooking, cleaning and general household tasks. I've also stayed with clients through their final days, keeping them clean, comfortable and never alone. Hi, My name is Dianne. I am a compassionate person who has caring experience with TBI, Anxiety, Depression, Arthritis, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Physical disability and Incontinence. I'm genuinely interested in making my clients' life easier and more enjoyable according to their preferences, choices and individual personalities, at the same time striving to preserve their dignity and independence as much as possible I can help with anything from companionship to simple meal preparation to bathing and personal grooming and care. I enjoy reading, travelling and nature. I have been trained in and have experience with ceiling hoists, mobile hoists, wheelchairs, catheters care colostomy bags. I have a full driver's license and have experience driving both manual and automatic. I have zero problems helping out in a home with pets be it cats, dogs, birds, hamsters or even lizards. I am a native English Speaker with an intermediate level in French and Dutch. I'm happy and look forward to working with new people and to assist them with fulfilling their daily tasks so as to make them comfortable and provide the care they need.

I offer live-in care in Doncaster, moving into a client's home and settling into the rhythm of their week rather than rushing between visits. Over 19 years I have supported people through a huge range of conditions, including dementia, stroke, Parkinson's, motor neurone disease, spinal injury and cerebral palsy, alongside mental health needs such as anxiety and depression. That breadth means I am comfortable with everything from hoist transfers, catheter and PEG care to tracheostomy support, medication and the everyday tasks of cooking, laundry and companionship. I speak English, Dutch and Yoruba, which sometimes helps me connect with clients and families in their own words. Having me as your carer means someone who slows down rather than hurrying through tasks. I pay attention to what soothes a person, whether that is a familiar song, a bit of gentle humour, or simply sitting quietly and letting them set the pace. Families have told me they finally slept peacefully knowing their loved one was safe and treated with dignity, and that means as much to me as any clinical skill. In an emergency I stay calm and clear, and day to day I focus on making a home feel settled again.
