I have been a carer for over 22 years looking after both elderly and the young. I have patiences, a good listener and I like a chat. I very much enjoy my work, keeping clients as independent as possible when safe to do so. I have worked in care homes and in the community also lived in care. I have gained my NVQ 2 and 3 in social care plus various other courses covering dementia, end-of-life care and medication. I speak fluent Hindi, Gujarati and English. I am happy to discuss any care needs you may require to see if I can help.

I have been working as a dedicated carer for over 10 years, supporting individuals with a wide range of physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in providing care for people with various conditions, including end-of-life care, motor neurone disease, dementia, and multiple sclerosis (MS). These roles have allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how to tailor support to meet the unique and evolving needs of each individual. I am passionate about delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. I pride myself on my ability to communicate effectively with both clients and their families, building strong, trusting relationships and ensuring that everyone involved feels heard and supported. I always strive to provide care to the highest standard, going the extra mile to ensure clients feel safe, comfortable, and valued. My strong organisational and planning skills are evident in my daily practice, where I manage complex care routines, medication schedules, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery. I adapt quickly to new situations and challenges, always maintaining a calm, professional, and compassionate approach. Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends and exploring different types of cuisine. I also have a keen interest in history and crime documentaries, which I find both informative and engaging. Being a carer is more than just a job to me—it's a vocation. I truly love helping others, whether they require full-time care or just a little extra support to maintain their independence.

I am a calm, patient and reliable carer who enjoys supporting people and helping them feel safe, comfortable and understood. I take time to listen, build trust, and offer gentle reassurance, especially during difficult moments. Caring for others gives me purpose, and I’m committed to providing kindness, dignity and respect in everything I do. Caring is more than a job to me it’s something I feel deeply about. I always aim to bring comfort, reassurance and dignity to every person I support. Whether someone needs practical help, emotional support, or simply a friendly presence, I’m committed to being there with compassion and reliability every day.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before arranging care.

Enter your postcode or town in the search box and we will show carers in your area who speak Gujarati.

Checks cover identity, right to work, an interview and an accepted criminal-record check: Enhanced DBS, DBS Update Service, Scottish PVG or Access NI. The acceptance window for a standalone Enhanced DBS certificate is 2 years. Update Service rechecks apply where that route is used. Check the documents and discuss skills, training and suitability for your particular care needs before booking. We do not check qualifications, training or references, so ask the carer about those directly.

Live-in carers can relocate to be with your loved one. We may suggest live-in care if hourly options are limited in your area.

Carers set their own rates, which vary by location, experience and care needs. Profile rates include our platform commission and the VAT on that commission. Agree the care, any extra services and expenses before booking. The standard contract charges bank holidays at 1.5 times the normal rate and Christmas Day at twice the normal rate. Compare like-for-like quotes for the same care and cover.

Search by your postcode and filter by language, care type and availability to see carers who fit what you need. You can message carers directly, or post a job describing what you’re looking for so that Gujarati-speaking carers can apply. You choose who to talk to and who to book.

You can arrange hourly (visiting) care, overnight care, respite and full-time live-in care. Carers help with companionship, personal care, medication prompts, mobility, meal preparation, household tasks and getting out and about, depending on what your loved one needs.

That depends on the carers near you and how flexible you can be on times and care type. You can search and message carers straight away. If it is urgent, the urgent care finder on our emergency care page can help.

Yes. We always recommend speaking with a carer first, by message, phone or video, and arranging an introductory meeting so both sides are comfortable. There’s no obligation to proceed until you’ve found someone who feels right for your family.

Visits booked through PrimeCarers are covered by the carer insurance policy we arrange, within its terms. It covers the carer’s public liability for everyday care. It does not cover clinical procedures of any kind (other than prompting or handing over oral medicines), and tasks such as giving medicines or moving and handling are covered only where the carer has been trained for them. Work arranged outside the platform is not covered. Read the policy before you rely on it. Our team provides platform and administrative support and can help you look for alternatives. Replacement availability and start dates need confirmation. Read the insurance information.

You agree the care with a self-employed carer and use PrimeCarers for contract, booking and payment tools. Keep bookings accurate and pay through the platform. The standard notice is 48 hours for hourly care and for live-in care before 168 hours have been worked. After 168 hours, live-in care requires 7 days. Different notice terms must be agreed in writing under the contract. Booked visits you cancel are payable under the contract, except for unplanned hospitalisation, illness or another reason agreed with your carer. Your carer may waive some or all of the charge. Read the agreement.
