I offer personal care, medication reminders, help with mobility and hoist use, and the everyday things like cooking, laundry and cleaning, alongside plenty of companionship along the way. I remember working with a client who was quite anxious about their care plan. Rather than rushing them, I took the time to talk it through step by step, answering questions as they came up and checking in on how they were feeling. Their family were worried too, so I made a point of sharing what I knew clearly and honestly, which seemed to ease things for everyone. Building that kind of trust, through patience and steady communication rather than quick fixes, is something I try to bring to every client I support. I have four years of experience supporting people with conditions including dementia, Parkinson's, stroke and physical disabilities, as well as those needing end of life care.
