This kind of close, day to day care is what I enjoy most. I am patient and steady, and I stay calm when things change quickly. I once stayed by a client's side in hospital for around twenty hours after his condition suddenly worsened, simply because I felt he needed someone he trusted there. I also helped a client with a spinal cord injury travel home to Spain after ten years away, something that meant a great deal to him and his wife.
