Become a Carer
Welcome to PrimeCarers—the UK’s one-stop portal for accessing high-quality, compassionate carers. This article features some of our live-in carers serving Pembrokeshire and its environs.
Our carers are dedicated individuals who provide necessary care and support to those in need. With them, you can have peace of mind knowing that those important to you are receiving nurturing care. As part of our onboarding process, we speak with carers to better understand their background, experience, approach to care, communication style, and the types of support they are comfortable providing. Clients remain responsible for reviewing each carer's profile, discussing their experience and training directly, and deciding whether they are suitable for their needs.
Meet Jean K, a carer whose empathy and passion for his job come across clearly. With over 5 years of experience, he is seasoned in the role and has special expertise in working with the elderly.
Jean's philosophy is to follow his client's lead; he focuses on making them comfortable in their homes, and always takes cues from their preferences to provide a bespoke care service. This mindset and approach make Jean not only an excellent personal caregiver but also a perfect companion.
Jean comes from a caring lineage, being the second in a line of caregivers—his wife and his 22-year-old daughter are also in the care service.
Before becoming a caregiver, Jean was an accountant for 20 years. It was his personal story of caring for his sickle cell daughter that inspired him to extend his nurturing hand to others.
Whether you would like a reading partner, someone conscientious to handle your personal and household tidying, or a good cook—to try out new recipes with, Jean is your ideal choice.
Brian K is greatly treasured for his expansive skill set and experience, gained over his 10 years in the care industry. In this time, Brian has worked with both adults and children with a variety of needs, making him seasoned in providing specialised care services.
Brian loves nothing more than witnessing the progression and success of his clients. Be it working with individuals on the autism spectrum, those with back injuries, epilepsy, or many other needs; Brian's wide-ranging skills and experience make him a sought-after carer for many in Pembrokeshire.
Lorraine L brings over two decades of experience into her caregiving services. Lorraine prides herself on being a 'Personal Support Assistant'— she offers specialised care adapted to the unique needs of her clients.
From dementia, learning disabilities, to autism spectrum disorders, Lorraine's professional experience covers a gamut of needs. Her joy and fulfilment come from helping others live independent lives. This, combined with her adaptability, an excellent sense of humour, and kind demeanour, render her invaluable to many households in Pembrokeshire.
Lorraine's interests in puzzles, reading, music, dance, and the outdoors breathe a joyful energy into her care services. Also, animal lovers in need of care are in for a treat - Lorraine is open to pets and has experience in cat, dog, fish, rabbit, and bird caregiving.
Finding the right carer for your loved ones can be a daunting task. Therefore, it is our job and pleasure at PrimeCarers to ease that process. Clients are responsible for checking the skills, experience, training, and qualifications of any carer they choose, and for satisfying themselves that the carer is suitable for the care or support they need.
