Who is wedding care for?

It can help a guest who would find the day difficult without support: an older relative, someone living with a disability, or someone who needs reassurance in unfamiliar surroundings. Tell us what your loved one finds helpful so you can choose a carer with suitable experience.

What does the £350 cover?

£350 covers one carer for an agreed wedding assignment of up to 12 hours. No payment is taken during the enquiry. Our team reviews the brief and helps find a suitable carer before requesting payment. Longer days, overnight support, extra carers and travel expenses need separate agreement.

Can we meet the carer beforehand?

Yes. Arrange a conversation with the carer before the wedding so your loved one can get to know them and you can discuss the plan. This can be a video call, or an in-person meeting where practical.

Can a carer support someone living with dementia?

Explain what helps your loved one feel settled, their usual routine and anything they find difficult. Ask prospective carers about their dementia care experience and agree a plan for breaks, unfamiliar surroundings and any changes to the day.

How far ahead should we enquire?

Ideally, get in touch at least 4–6 weeks before the wedding to allow time to discuss your needs and meet a suitable carer. You can still enquire at shorter notice; availability will need to be checked.

What if the venue is remote or the guest wants to leave early?

Share the venue postcode and your guest’s starting and finishing addresses. Agree travel, costs and an early departure option before the day. Carer availability and transport arrangements depend on the location and date.
